This task was all about using different settings with flash to capture images. Here are my 4 preferred images from the task.
Image 1 - Outside, Manual
1/200 f5.6 FEC 0

This was one of the last images I took for this exercise but is the one that surprised me the most. I was impressed with the capabilities of the camera's on board flash in a really bright outdoor setting.
Image 2 - Step 2 - FEC Control
1/200 f5.6 FEC +1

I like the overall natural look to the model in this image. There is a nice glow on their skin thanks to the flash and exposure composition setting. There is also a soft vignette to the edge of the image that I also appreciate.
Image 3 - Step 2 - FEC Control
1/200 f5.6 FEC -1

Having tried different images with a background window I noticed having the FEC too high or too low resulted in a poor level of detail in the subject and background. I seemed to find the sweet-spot in my opinion using FEC -1 for this image, with detail in the subject and an even amount of contrast in the background.
Image 4 - Final Step
1/60 f5.6 FEC -1 Second Curtain Sync

I like the overall faded appearance of this image, using second curtain flash sync and bringing the FEC to -1 I managed to achieve this. I noticed using this setting that you don't tend to get that shimmer from certain things such as hair, as there seems to be a small amount of detail loss in the subject's hair. Overall I think this was a successful image.
