This week, we were given various different exercises to ease us back into things after our midterm break. Here is 6 of my favourite images!

1/125 F5.6 Task 1

Using my knowledge of Rule of Thirds I managed to get this visually pleasing off-centre focus with a contrasting background.

1/50 F5.6 Task 1

I chose this image because of the foreground bokeh, it really bring out the pop of colour from the subject, which sits nicely next to the canvas like wall.

2" F25 Task 2

I love the effect given from the slow shutter speed and lens zoom. It gives an angel ray sort of ghosting effect off the cherub.

1/20 F5.6 Task 5

Purposely underexposing this image, I get a dark sense of dread or mystery as a result. I enjoy the brightly coloured background that helps draw focus to the dark figure at the front of the image.

1/160 F5.6 Task 5

Again I chose this purposely underexposed image because I love the little streaks of white light breaking through the droplets. The hard bokeh bringing focus to the droplets on a dull background makes for an effective image in my eyes.
