For week one of Photography we have been asked to capture images of a primary source photograph, and add our own personal thoughts on the images we select.
I have chosen images that stood out to me.

Horse Follow Closely: Native American Horsemanship
This image stood out to me because of its color scheme. I am a huge fan of traditional photography and the sepia effect from the terrain and attire worn by the Horseman makes for a fantastic photograph by Gabrielle Boiselle.

America’s neglected hiking trails are more popular than ever—but they’re struggling -National Geographic Mag
This image, taken from National Geographic Magazine highlighting the effects climate change is having on natural hiking trails and nature reserves, caught my eye for its contrasting colors and subject structure. The almost nuclear green splashes on the basalt rock really makes an image that would otherwise be dull and uninviting pop with character, whereas the almost symmetrical shape to the basalt adds a level of structure to a natural formation that is not often seen.
