This week we implemented some techniques learned in our lecture this week; here are some of my selected images.

I selected this image as I feel the lines and square fitting of the metal bars add a nice structure to the image, followed by the contrasting reflection of the mirror on the magnolia coloured wall.

Again, using the line technique I created this image using the edge of a wall. Making sure the image was centered I captured this image representing the light and dark side.

I wanted to demonstrate contrast divided by structure for this image. Using the railing to separate the detailed greenery and the out-of-focus tree in the background. I feel this is a good representation of dominance in photography as one portion of the image grabs the image of the viewer.

This is my attempt to implement the golden circle. I captured the detail of the droplets in the bare tree branches in the foreground and then shifts focus to the burst of colour of the yellow tree in the background, giving detail to the full frame.

I wanted to create a balance with this image. Using the right light to be the center of the image, accompanied by the neon strip lighting either side in the background.

This is my attempt to represent balance. I tried to balance the dry and wet parts of the concrete to create a structure in the image.

Again this is my attempt to represent the golden circle technique. Using the center focus that then travels from the left to the top of the image to the bokeh spot lights.
